Fizz, Clink: The Curious Traveler

Each month, we ask one of Ocean House or Weekapaug Inn’s talented beverage connoisseurs to share a cocktail recipe that’s perfectly suited for the season.

Ocean House Director of Wine Education & Head Sommelier, Charlotte, has crafted The Curious Traveler for your enjoyment this month. For the most inquisitive, enjoy a refreshing drink with a depth of flavors that please and surprise the palate.

The Curious Traveler

4 oz. vodka
1.5 oz. Yuzu juice
1 inch piece fresh celery
4 whole white peppercorns
2 dashes celery bitters
Pinch of salt

Prepare a chilled glass. In a shaker, muddle fresh celery stalk with peppercorns. Combine all ingredients in mixer and shake. Double strain into martini glass and garnish with celery blossom and lemon twist. Enjoy!
